WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Friday, June 24 at 11 a.m. ET, EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, will host a press call with candidates from Illinois ahead of their June 28 primary elections.

On the call, EMILYs List President Laphonza Butler will be hosting candidates for Congress state Rep. Delia Ramirez, Rep. Marie Newman, and Nikki Budzinski and Illinois secretary of state candidate and Chicago City Clerk Anna Valencia. This virtual event will give the press the opportunity to ask Ramirez, Newman, Budzinski, and Valencia about their campaigns and their goals in office.
