EMILYs List Congratulates Rep. Janelle Bynum on Her Reelection to Oregon’s 5th Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following Rep. Janelle Bynum’s reelection to Oregon’s 5th Congressional District, EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:

“EMILYs List congratulates Rep. Janelle Bynum on her reelection to Oregon’s 5th Congressional District. By earning voters’ trust and delivering for her district, Janelle held a critical seat in the fight for the House majority. From lowering costs and creating good-paying jobs to protecting reproductive freedom, she’s focused on the issues that matter most to Oregon families. EMILYs List is proud to stand with Janelle as she continues to bring strong, proven leadership to Congress.”

EMILYs List’s Mission Majority initiative put Democratic women at the center of an aggressive strategy to flip the U.S. House and reclaim the majority. The path to a majority required protecting the ten Frontline incumbents who prevailed in some of the toughest races of 2024. Throughout the cycle, the EMILYs List team provided strategic support and critical resources to help our incumbents defend their seats.
