Women Vote Launches Program Educating Illinois Voters on Kelly Mazeski's Record
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List’s voter mobilization and education project, Women Vote, announces a direct mail program to educate voters of Illinois’ 6th Congressional District about Kelly Mazeski.
Kelly Mazeski will be a champion for the 6th district, particularly on health care and climate. As a breast cancer survivor and a mother to a daughter with a preexisting condition, Mazeski knows the importance of access to quality health care and insurance. The direct mail program will introduce the voters to Kelly and educate them on her commitment to affordable health care for all Americans and the environment.
The ten piece mail plan targets any 2016 presidential primary voter who voted in one of these three Democratic primaries: 2010, 2012 or 2014. The mail will also target new registrants since Election Day 2016 who have a partisanship score of 65+.
The mail will drop on the following days: 2/7, 2/12, 2/16, 2/22, 2/27, 3/1, 3/5, 3/8, 3/12 and 3/14.
Women Vote is EMILYs List’s independent expenditure arm which works to educate and mobilize women voters on behalf of pro-choice Democratic women candidates, and help turnout voters for Democrats up and down the ballot. Launched in 1995, the EMILY's List Women Vote project combines polling and research, sophisticated message testing, the latest innovations in data and technology as well as good old-fashioned voter contact to mobilize millions of women voters across the country.
