Women Vote Announces Six-Figure Radio Program in Montana’s At-Large Congressional District Race
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Women Vote, the independent expenditure arm of EMILYs List, announced a six-figure radio program in Montana’s At-Large Congressional District. The ad, which will run until Election Day, brings Women Vote’s total investment to $525,000 in the red-to-blue race between Kathleen Williams and Maryland millionaire Matt Rosendale.
“Between a dedicated three-term Montana state representative or a millionaire ‘serial office seeker’ from Maryland, the choice is exceedingly clear,” said Melissa Williams, vice president of independent expenditures at EMILYs List. “There’s only one candidate on the ballot who will serve as a champion for Montanans, and that’s Kathleen Williams. Matt Rosendale hasn’t even made it to Washington yet, and he’s already been bought and paid for by special interests. When it comes to protecting access to affordable health care, Maryland Matt has already shown his hand: he didn’t object to a 23 percent hike in insurance premiums and backed insurance plans that could prevent coverage for people with preexisting conditions like asthma and COVID-19. Voters can’t afford Matt Rosendale’s reckless agenda, and that’s why they’ll vote for Kathleen Williams: a pragmatic thinker, public servant, and problem solver.”
