Women Vote Announces New Television Ad Running in Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Women Vote, the independent expenditure arm of EMILYs List, unveiled a new ad in Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District. The ad, Sides, highlights Congressman Don Bacon’s alarming enthusiasm for stripping health care from 23 million Americans, including people with preexisting conditions. 

“Congressman Don Bacon has no interest in fighting for Nebraskans’ health care,” said Melissa Williams, executive director of Women Vote “It’s painfully obvious that his only purpose in Congress is to serve as Donald Trump and the Republican Party’s ‘hell yes’ man. Nebraskans deserve a representative with a backbone who will put their needs before partisan politics, and that’s why they’re going to elect Kara Eastman.”
