November 4, 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WASHINGTON, D.C. – EMILYs List women have secured a Democratic trifecta in Wisconsin, delivering governing power to the party for the first time since 2010. Building off years of EMILYs List investments focused on building Democratic power in Wisconsin, these women flipped critical seats needed for the party to take control of both the state Senate and the state Assembly.

EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:

“With this trifecta, Wisconsin Democrats can go toe-to-toe with the reckless MAGA agenda coming out of Washington. Every single EMILYs List woman in the state won their election, flipping critical seats across the state. They secured Democratic majorities in the legislature and delivered a real legislative partnership to Gov.-elect David Crowley. With Democrats holding true governing power for the first time since 2010, now state Senate Majority Leader Dianne Hesselbein and Speaker of the Wisconsin state Assembly Greta Neubauer will lead the effort to make everyday life better for Wisconsinites across the state.”

The following state and local EMILYs candidates in Wisconsin have secured victories:

  • Sarah Godlewski (Lieutenant Governor)
  • Robyn Vining (WI-SD05)
  • Jenna Jacobson (WI-SD17)
  • Becky Nichols (WI-AD53)
  • Lori Palmeri (WI-AD54)
  • Brandy Tollefson (WI-AD88)
  • Jodi Emerson (WI-AD91)
