November 4, 2026

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WASHINGTON, D.C. – EMILYs List women have delivered a Democratic trifecta in Minnesota, once again establishing true governing power in the state. U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar won her race for Minnesota governor, while EMILYs List candidates held onto Democrats’ state Senate majority and flipped seats to take Democratic control of the House.

EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:

“Democrats have once again secured a trifecta in Minnesota, thanks to Gov.-elect Amy Klobuchar and EMILYs List women statewide. These women spearheaded the charge to build real governing power across the state — from holding the governorship to expanding majorities in both chambers of the legislature.
