EMILYs List Statement on Trump’s Latest Lies on Abortion

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to Donald Trump’s latest attempt to lie to voters about his position on abortion, EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:
“Donald Trump’s record on abortion is clear: just this week, he bragged about being ‘the person responsible’ for overturning Roe v. Wade, the action that led to Arizona having to live under a Civil War-era near-total abortion ban.
“Donald Trump’s agenda is clear: He and his extremist allies are plotting ways to end our reproductive freedom as soon as they take office.
“Trump’s lies are equally clear: He will say anything to get elected.
“The news from Florida and Arizona prove one thing: We cannot trust Donald Trump with our reproductive rights. He is responsible for what patients face in those states, and he will go further in the White House. EMILYs List is proud to stand with the Biden-Harris administration, the only ticket who will support our rights.”
