EMILYs List Statement on Rep. Lipinski Supporting Anti-Choice Group

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rep. Dan Lipinski (IL-03), one of few anti-choice Democrats in Congress, attended a fundraiser on Monday for an anti-choice group. Christina Reynolds, vice president of communications at EMILYs List, released the following statement:

“Dan Lipinski has proven time and time again that his anti-choice views are out of line with people in his district and the Democratic party. His attendance at this fundraiser shows that not only does he support policies that are harmful to women – he’s actively helping conservative groups advance their dangerous anti-choice agenda. Women and families in Illinois’ 3rd congressional district deserve better than a representative who’s working to take away their fundamental rights.”
