EMILYs List Statement on New Mexico’s State Primary Election Results
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, congratulated six women on winning their primary elections in New Mexico. Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILYs List, released the following statement:
“The results show that New Mexico voters are excited to support progressive candidates and policies. These pro-choice Democratic women have demonstrated unwavering commitment to their communities and with their victories tonight, New Mexicans have a clear choice this November. EMILYs List was proud to endorse these women and we congratulate them as they advance to the general election.”
