EMILYs List Statement on Madeleine Dean’s Victory in Pennsylvania’s 4th District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, congratulated Madeleine Dean on tonight’s primary election victory in Pennsylvania’s 4th Congressional District. Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILYs List, released the following statement:

“Madeleine has been fighting for progressive policies in the state House for six years, and we are thrilled that she is another step closer to taking that fight to the halls of Congress. The women and working families of this district will be well-served by a champion like Madeleine, which is why we are so proud to stand with her and congratulate her tonight.”

During the primary, EMILYs List’s voter mobilization and education project, Women Vote, launched a mail program in support of Madeleine Dean.
