EMILYs List Endorses Six Democratic Pro-Choice Women to the Michigan State Legislature

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed six Democratic pro-choice women for election and reelection to the Michigan state Legislature. EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:

“EMILYs List is proud to support these Democratic pro-choice women for election and reelection to the Michigan state Legislature. Each of these qualified women are vital to ensuring Michiganders keep access to their fundamental freedoms. EMILYs List is thrilled to throw our full support behind each of them, as they work to make their communities better and protect the rights and freedoms for all Michiganders.”

EMILYs List endorsed the following slate of candidates for election and reelection:

  • Mai Xiong, MI-HD13
  • Janise O’Neil Robinson, MI-HD28
  • Shadia Martini, MI-HD54
  • Aisha Farooqi, MI-HD57
  • Michelle Levine-Woodman, MI-HD62
  • Abby Klomparens, MI-HD86 

EMILYs List previously endorsed Mai Xiong for her special election in April 2024, Shadia Martini in 2022, and Aisha Farooqi in 2022.
