WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed state Rep. Kaela Berg for Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District. EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:
“As a mom, flight attendant, union leader, and state Representative Kaela Berg is a fearless, authentic champion for Minnesota families. She fights for workers’ rights, to protect health care, and strengthen our children’s schools. In Congress, Kaela is ready to stand up against corruption and the billionaire-first agenda that has left working families behind. We are honored to support her in this election.”
Rep. Kaela Berg currently represents District 55B in the Minnesota House of Representatives. For nearly two decades, she has worked as a flight attendant and has been a fierce union leader, standing shoulder to shoulder with workers fighting for dignity and respect. As a state legislator, she has prioritized protecting our reproductive rights, expanding access to health care, and putting public safety first. In Congress, she will bring her deep working-class roots and proven record of getting things done as a state legislator to continue delivering for the people of Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District.
