EMILYs List Endorses Julie Lythcott-Haims for Election to California’s 16th Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed Julie Lythcott-Haims for election to California’s 16th Congressional District. EMILYs List Interim President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:

“Julie Lythcott-Haims has spent her career working to improve the lives of people in her community and across the country, and she’s ready to take that passion and dedication to the U.S. House for the people of California’s 16th Congressional District. Julie Lythcott-Haims is an educator, author, advocate, and lawyer running to be a champion for California’s 16th Congressional District. Lythcott-Haims is also a current Palo Alto councilmember and has taken the lead on affordable housing, youth mental health, and climate change in her district. She is a New York Times bestselling author of multiple nonfiction books on human development and has received multiple awards and recognitions for her public service and advocacy efforts. Lythcott-Haims holds degrees from Stanford, Harvard Law, and California College of the Arts, and lives with her partner Dan in Palo Alto.
