EMILYs List Endorses Julie Lythcott-Haims for Election to California’s 16th Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed Julie Lythcott-Haims for election to California’s 16th Congressional District. EMILYs List Interim President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:

Julie Lythcott-Haims is an educator, author, advocate, and lawyer running to be a champion for California’s 16th Congressional District. Lythcott-Haims is also a current Palo Alto councilmember and has taken the lead on affordable housing, youth mental health, and climate change in her district. She is a New York Times bestselling author of multiple nonfiction books on human development and has received multiple awards and recognitions for her public service and advocacy efforts. Lythcott-Haims holds degrees from Stanford, Harvard Law, and California College of the Arts, and lives with her partner Dan in Palo Alto.
