EMILY's List Endorses 13 Candidates for Election in New Mexico

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed 13 more women for election in New Mexico. EMILYs List President Laphonza Butler released the following statement:

“EMILYs List is thrilled to endorse 13 more candidates for election in New Mexico. We know that these candidates will fight tirelessly to ensure that abortion remains legal and accessible in New Mexico as Republicans attack our fundamental freedoms across the country. We’re proud to stand with these pro-choice champions as they advance justice and opportunity for every New Mexican.”

These endorsements are in addition to the previously endorsed EMILYs List legislative candidates headed to the general election in New Mexico: Janelle Anyanonu (NM-HD19), Tara Jaramillo (NM-HD38), Susan Herrera (NM-HD41), Kristina Ortez (NM-HD42), and Andrea Romero (NM-HD46).
