WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, congratulates two women on advancing to the general election for the Nevada Legislature. EMILYs List President Laphonza Butler released the following statement:

These Democratic pro-choice women are critical to safeguarding all that the Nevada Democratic majority has accomplished over the past few years. At this crucial juncture for reproductive freedom in the United States, these candidates are committed to ensuring that Nevadans and all their neighbors can access reproductive health care. EMILYs List is proud to stand by these pro-choice champions and know that they have what it takes to win in November.”
