EMILYs List Congratulates State Rep. Joanna McClinton on Her Election as Pennsylvania Speaker of the House

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today the Pennsylvania House of Representatives elected state Rep. Joanna McClinton as speaker of the House, making her the first woman and second Black legislator to ever serve in this role. EMILYs List President Laphonza Butler released the following statement:
