EMILYs List Congratulates Seven Women on Their Election to the New York State Legislature And Local Office

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, EMILY's List, the nation's largest resource for women in politics, celebrated the election of seven pro-choice Democratic women to the New York State Legislature and local office. Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILY's List, released the following statement:

During this past legislative session, women were instrumental in the passage of police accountability reforms and emergency paid sick leave and job protection leave, and we have no doubt our winners will continue puting working families first.
