EMILYs List Congratulates Rep. Jahana Hayes on Her Reelection to Connecticut’s 5th Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following Rep. Jahana Hayes’ reelection to Connecticut’s 5th Congressional District, EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:

“EMILYs List congratulates Rep. Jahana Hayes on her reelection to Congress. A former National Teacher of the Year, Jahana has built her career around expanding opportunity and fighting for Connecticut families. Her reelection is a testament to the trust she has earned and her commitment to delivering results for her constituents. We look forward to seeing her continue that work in Congress.”

EMILYs List’s Mission Majority initiative put Democratic women at the center of an aggressive strategy to flip the U.S. House and reclaim the majority. The path to a majority required protecting the ten Frontline incumbents who prevailed in some of the toughest races of 2024. Throughout the cycle, the EMILYs List team provided strategic support and critical resources to help our incumbents defend their seats.
