EMILYs List Congratulates Emilia Sykes on Her Reelection to Ohio’s 13th Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Following Rep. Emilia Sykes’ reelection to Ohio’s 13th Congressional District, EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:

“EMILYs List proudly congratulates Rep. Emilia Sykes on her reelection to Ohio’s 13th Congressional District. From the Ohio state House to Congress, Emilia has built a strong record of winning tough races by delivering for working families and earning her constituents’ trust. EMILYs List has been proud to stand with Emilia since day one, recognizing her leadership and supporting her first congressional campaign in 2022. Her reelection ensures Ohioans will continue to have a proven, effective leader fighting for working families and delivering results in Congress.”

In 2020, EMILYs List awarded her the Gabrielle Giffords Rising Star Award in recognition of extraordinary women serving in state or local office.

EMILYs List’s Mission Majority initiative put Democratic women at the center of an aggressive strategy to flip the U.S. House and reclaim the majority. The path to a majority required protecting the ten Frontline incumbents who prevailed in some of the toughest races of 2024. Throughout the cycle, the EMILYs List team provided strategic support and critical resources to help our incumbents defend their seats.
