WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, congratulates 11 women on their election to the Florida Legislature. EMILYs List President Laphonza Butler released the following statement:

Now more than ever, we need pro-choice leaders elected to all levels of office to continue to defend and expand reproductive freedoms for all. We know these leaders will fight back against Republican attempts to further restrict the rights of their constituents, and we are proud to stand by them.”
