EMILYs List Announces Additional Georgia State Legislature Endorsements

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, announced an additional round of Georgia legislative endorsements. EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:

“Georgia is one of the most important battlegrounds in the fight to build Democratic governing power. EMILYs List is proud to endorse these four fearless leaders as we work to flip the state House of Representatives. As Republicans drive up costs and threaten Georgians’ fundamental freedoms, these women are stepping up to deliver the leadership working families deserve. Together, we’re going to build a Democratic majority in Georgia.”

EMILYs List endorses the following candidates for election and reelection:

  • Cynthia Starke-Jones (GA-HD19)
  • Elisa Lassiter (GA-HD40)
  • Teresa Lin (GA-HD49)
  • Dr. Michelle Au (GA-HD50)

EMILYs List previously announced Danielle Bell (GA-HD44), Michelle Schreiner (GA-HD45), Beth Fuller (GA-HD53), and Michelle Kang (GA-HD99) in the initial round of endorsements to the Georgia state Legislature. 

Dr. Michelle Au was nominated for the 2023 Gabrielle Giffords Rising Star Award.
