EMILYs List Endorses Nine Democratic Pro-Choice Women for Reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed nine Democratic pro-choice women for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives. EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:
“EMILYs List is proud to endorse nine congresswoman who are working hard everyday to fight for their communities, defend our fundamental rights and freedoms, and to stand up to the Trump-Musk billionaire-first agenda. Meanwhile, House Republicans are working in lockstep to pass reckless policies that drive costs up while cutting critical services for everyday people all to give tax breaks to billionaires. Flipping the majority is critical to stopping them in their tracks and these women are at the heart of that fight. They have proven they have what it takes to win and we are ready to stand with them to take back power in 2026.”
EMILYs List endorses the following incumbents for reelection:
- Rep. Janelle Bynum (OR-05)
- Rep. Laura Gillen (NY-04)
- Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA-03)
- Rep. Jahana Hayes (CT-05)
- Rep. Susie Lee (NV-03)
- Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet (MI-08)
- Rep. Nellie Pou (NJ-09)
- Rep. Emilia Sykes (OH-13)
- Rep. Dina Titus (NV-01)
EMILYs List has supported each of these pro-choice champions during previous election cycles.
This group includes groundbreakers whose elections to Congress made history, including in 2024 when Rep. Bynum became the first Black person to represent Oregon and Rep. Pou became the first Latina to represent New Jersey. In 2018, Rep. Hayes also made history when she became the first Black woman to represent Connecticut in Congress.
