October 2, 2024

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

WASHINGTON, D.C. –  EMILY’s List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics partnered with Future Forward on a digital program targeting women under 40 in battleground states. As the experts in women voters and abortion messaging, Women Vote, the independent expenditure arm of EMILYs List, educates and mobilizes women voters across the country.

As part of EMILYs List’s and Future Forward’s (FF PAC) ongoing advertising campaign, they’re launching a new ad called “15 Year Old” which powerfully tells the story about the consequences of Donald Trump overturning Roe v. Wade and his national abortion ban.

The $6.3 million program is reaching women under 40 across multiple screens – YouTube, connected TV, streaming services, and other digital platforms in battleground states. This program builds on Women Vote’s ongoing digital-first campaign to this audience.

Women Vote is EMILY’s List’s independent expenditure arm which works to educate and mobilize women voters on behalf of pro-choice Democratic women candidates and help turn out voters for Democrats up and down the ballot. Launched in 1995, the EMILY’s List Women Vote project combines polling and research, sophisticated message testing, the latest innovations in data and technology as well as good old-fashioned voter contact to educate and mobilize millions of women voters across the country.

EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, works to elect Democratic pro-choice women up and down the ballot and across the country with a goal of fighting for our rights and our communities. Our work is centered around a fundamental vision: Run. Win. Change the World. EMILYs List has raised $850 million in service to that vision and has helped Democratic women win competitive elections by recruiting and training candidates, supporting and helping build strong campaigns, researching the issues that impact women and families, running one of the largest independent expenditure operations for Democrats, and turning out women voters to the polls. Since our founding in 1985, we have helped elect the country’s first woman as vice president, 175 women to the House, 26 to the Senate, 20 governors, and over 1,500 women to state and local office. More than 40% of the candidates EMILYs List has helped elect to Congress have been women of color. Visit www.emilyslist.org for more information.
