EMILYs List Endorses Emily Larson for Mayor of Duluth, Minnesota

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed Emily Larson for reelection as mayor of Duluth, Minnesota. EMILYs List President Laphonza Butler released the following statement:

Emily Larson has been mayor of Duluth, Minnesota since 2016. She has been a resident of Duluth since the age of 17 and was first elected to serve as an at-large Duluth City councilor from 2011 to 2015. As mayor, she has focused on addressing racial and economic disparities, championing affordable housing, fighting climate change, and growing the city’s economy. Larson is also a graduate of the College of St. Scholastica and the University of Minnesota Duluth and lives in the Hillside neighborhood of Duluth with her husband, Doug.
