EMILYs List Statement on Dixon Joke About Whitmer Kidnap Plot

WASHINGTON, D.C. – EMILYs List President Laphonza Butler released the following statement in reaction to Michigan Republican gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon’s attempt to joke about the plot to kidnap and kill Gov. Gretchen Whitmer: 
 

“Gov. Whitmer has faced serious threats against her life from politically motivated extremists, and Tudor Dixon’s outrageous attempt to turn that danger into a joke is a confession that she’s unfit for public office.”
