EMILY's List Congratulates 10 Candidates for the Maine State Senate on Their Primary Victories

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, congratulates 10 women on advancing to the general election for the Maine state Senate. EMILYs List President Laphonza Butler released the following statement:

“EMILYs List is proud 10 pro-choice champions are advancing to the general election in their bids to represent their communities in the Maine state Senate. Amid unjust attacks on our reproductive freedom, these women have stepped up to protect our bodies, our health, and our futures. We know that these candidates will tenaciously advocate for justice and equity for the people of Maine, and are thrilled to stand with them as they work to preserve the Democratic majority in the Maine State Legislature.”
