EMILY's List Statement on Cindy Axne’s Victory in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, congratulated Cindy Axne on being reelected to represent Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House. Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILYs List, released the following statement:

As the representative who held the most town halls of all House freshmen in 2019, she has proven that she will show up for her community and represent their interests in Congress. Iowans have reelected a true champion for progress who has helped her district navigate devastating flooding and the challenges of COVID-19. EMILYs List looks forward to what Cindy will continue to accomplish in office for Iowans, and we are proud to stand with her.” 

Women Vote invested $192,000 in a persuasion mail program.
