LCV Victory Fund, House Majority PAC, and EMILYs List's Women Vote Announce Program to Defeat Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, LCV Victory Fund, House Majority PAC, and Women Vote, the independent expenditure arm of EMILYs List, announced a $2.2 million digital and TV program to defeat Lauren Boebert in the 3rd Congressional District of Colorado.
The Women Vote program will cover three weeks of Grand Junction broadcast and cable featuring this ad, “Believer.” It also includes a six figure district-wide digital program, including premium video, Vevo, Snapchat, and social media and is anchored to www.recklessboebert.com.
LCV Victory Fund’s program covers two weeks of Colorado Springs market on broadcast and cable.
House Majority PAC will run ads in the Denver market for 10 days, starting next week.
“We’re proud to partner with HMP and LCV Victory Fund to elect Diane Mitsch Bush to Congress where she will bring the kind of leadership we need to move forward as a country,” said Melissa Williams, executive director of Women Vote “Colorado voters need to know just how dangerous Lauren Boebert is to their health, safety, and public lands. With the help of our allies, we’re able to deliver that message.”
“Colorado's 3rd Congressional District is home to soaring mountains, rushing rivers, and four of our five offices. It's a place where conservation values run deep — and voters deserve a leader who reflects those values. I'm thrilled that LCV Victory Fund, Women Vote and House Majority PAC are teaming up to help elect Diane Mitsch Bush and look forward to working with her to bring a common-sense conservation perspective to Washington, DC.” said Kelly Nordini, Executive Director, Conservation Colorado.
“Lauren Boebert is too radical for Colorado. Boebert has made it crystal clear that she will side with corporate polluters, which would threaten Colorado’s public lands and the health and well being of Coloradans,” said Emily Crerand, National Campaigns Director, LCV Victory Fund. “We need to elect Diane Mitsch Bush, a long time champion for Colorado’s environment and families.”
“Lauren Boebert is out of step with the vast majority of Colorado's families, and it's important to know how dangerous her agenda is,” said Abby Curran Horrell, executive director of House Majority PAC. “She would side with polluters over families when it comes to clean air and water, and she supports plans that would gut protection for preexisting conditions. It's clear that she's just too extreme.”
