EMILYs List Candidates Announce Impressive Q1 Fundraising Numbers
WASHINGTON, D.C. – As the first quarter fundraising numbers are released, candidates backed by EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, are leading the pack. As of today, at least five EMILYs List endorsed freshmen raised over half a million dollars and 16 are top fundraisers bringing in over $300,000. Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILYs List, released the following statement:

They're already putting in the hard work to outraise and crush their potential challengers from the start, and the latest fundraising numbers are a testament to the influence and fresh perspective they have brought to Congress since day one. With strong support already behind them, representatives like Lucy McBath – who raised $482,000, more than opponents Karen Handel and Brandon Beach combined – are already surpassing their Republican challengers. Rep. Katie Hill, a powerhouse fundraiser from 2018, raised over $600,000, an eye-popping amount with more than 82% of donations coming from individual donors. Rep. Mikie Sherrill, raised more than $550,000, with over 90% of donations coming from her expansive small-dollar grassroots network.
