Women Vote Releases New TV Ad Highlighting Scott Taylor’s Stream of Scandals
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, EMILY's List independent expenditure arm Women Vote released a new ad pointing out that election fraud is not Scott Taylor’s only scandal – he also took money from insurance companies then voted to repeal access to affordable health care for his constituents.
The ad can be viewed here and will begin running in Norfolk today.
“Scott Taylor’s steady stream of scandals has one common theme: he is out to serve himself rather than working families,” said Christina Reynolds, vice president of communications at EMILYs List. “Taylor has proven that he is willing to cheat his way to re-election and cheat Virginians out of affordable health care. It’s time for Taylor to go.”
SCRIPT: “Scandal”
We’ve all heard about Scott Taylor’s election fraud scandal. But his other scandal is his record on health care.
Scott Taylor took thousands from the drug and insurance industries and voted to raise premiums for Virginia families by up to 64%.
Taylor also supported an “age tax” on older Americans and voted to gut protections for pre-existing conditions.
Big donors win. Virginia families lose. That’s his other scandal. And it’s why Scott Taylor has to go.
