EMILYs List Endorses 11 More Women Leaders for the Michigan State Legislature

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed 11 more women leaders for the Michigan state Legislature. Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILYs List, released the following statement:
“Pro-choice Democratic women are rising up to take their places in the Michigan Legislature and EMILYs List is thrilled to be standing with them. While they come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, these 11 women share an unshakable commitment to supporting Michigan women and families. They belong in Lansing and EMILYs List is proud to endorse them.”

All 12 previously endorsed EMILYs List candidates –Sylvia Santana (SD-03), Erika Geiss (SD-06), Dayna Polehanki (SD-07), Tenisha Yancey (HD-01), Sherry Gay-Dagnogo (HD-08), Brenda Carter (HD-29), Sheryl Kennedy (HD-48), Alberta Griffin (HD-61), Sheila Troxel (HD-64), Kara Hope (HD-67), Tanya Cabala (HD-91) and Kathy Wiejaczka (HD-101)– advanced through their primaries in Michigan on August 7, 2018.
