WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, congratulated Mikie Sherrill on tonight’s primary election results in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District. Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILYs List, released the following statement:

“Tonight, voters confirmed that there is no one better qualified and fit to represent New Jersey’s 11th District than Mikie Sherrill. From her service in the U.S. Navy to her time in the U.S. Attorney’s Office to her role as a mother of four, Mikie has spent her life putting others first. Her commitment to her community and her country are only the beginning of her qualifications. EMILYs List is proud to stand with Mikie as she advances to the general election and we look forward to flipping New Jersey’s 11th District this November.”
