WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILY's List, issued the following statement on Abortion Restrictions in High-Risk Pools: "EMILY's List is dismayed and disappointed by the unnecessary restrictions being placed on access to reproductive health care for women in the new "high risk pools." Women in these "high-risk pools" face challenging circumstances and decisions that should be made by them and their doctors alone, with respect for their personal choices.
