Women Vote Announces English and Spanish Digital Program in Florida’s 26th Congressional District Race
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Women Vote, the independent expenditure arm of EMILYs List, announced an English and Spanish digital program in Florida’s 26th Congressional District.
The first ad in English, ‘Carlos Failed,’ features a testimonial from a voter who had COVID-19, and is anchored to https://floridawomenvote.com/. The second ad in Spanish, ‘Car-ruption,’ highlights Corrupt Carlos Giménez’s shameful record of abusing his position for personal profit, and is anchored to https://mujeresvotantesflorida.com/.
“Carlos Giménez has failed South Floridians,” said Melissa Williams, vice president of independent expenditures at EMILYs List. “He has abused taxpayer dollars for personal and family profit and put millions at risk with his complete and utter failure to handle the coronavirus pandemic. Giménez has proven he will lie about his record to try and win votes, but Floridians have not forgotten that he cut public health funding and actively made it more difficult for his hardworking constituents to get coverage under the Affordable Care Act. With so much damage done already, Floridians cannot afford to send Carlos Giménez to Congress.”
