Mailer Highlights Vice President Harris’ Commitment to Protect Abortion

WASHINGTON, D.C. – EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, today announced a persuasion mail program targeting 1.2 million Democratic women voters in battleground states, educating them about Vice President Harris’ commitment to protect abortion access when she is elected President. As the nationwide voter mobilization and education project of EMILY’s List, Women Vote mobilizes women voters to support Vice President Harris’ election to the White House.

“Donald Trump’s record of actively working against American women is crystal clear – and women deserve to know that. And these women need to know Vice President has always had – and will have – their freedom to make their own choices at the top of her priority list,” said Melissa Williams, Executive Director of EMILYs List’s independent expenditure operation, Women Vote.  

The first mailer in a $2 million program targeting women voters makes plain the stakes of the election when it comes to women’s health and freedom. The next mailers drops September 11th and September 16th.

The program is targeting women in Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania who voted in one or two of the last general elections with a TargetSmart partisanship score of 70-98 and adding new women registrants since 2022.
