EMILYs List Statement on Webber and Spano Fundraiser at Trump International Hotel in DC

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today President Trump is hosting a fundraiser at Trump International Hotel in Washington, D.C. for several Republican candidates, including Jay Webber (NJ-11) and Ross Spano (FL-15). Christina Reynolds, vice president of communications at EMILYs List, released the following statement:

“This fundraiser is further proof that Republicans like Jay Webber and Ross Spano will be at the president’s beck and call if elected. Rather than supporting policies to help working families, they support an agenda that includes repealing access to affordable health care and more corporate tax cuts. Mikie Sherrill and Kristen Carlson, on the other hand, aren’t afraid to stand up to the harmful Trump agenda and fight for their future constituents.”
