WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, congratulated Norma Torres on her primary election victory in California’s 35th Congressional District. Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILYs List, released the following statement:

“Congresswoman Norma Torres is a fighter for women, families, and the people of the 35th District. Norma is the champion that this district needs fighting for them in Washington, and the EMILYs List community will fight alongside Norma to make sure this seat is held by a true progressive champion.”
