WASHINGTON, D.C. –Today, new reporting from CNN’s KFILE uncovered past comments by Graham Platner deleted shortly before he launched his campaign, including saying “rural White Americans ‘actually are’ racist and stupid.” Following the report, EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the below statement on the stakes of the Maine U.S. Senate race:
