EMILYs List Response to Danny Tarkanian’s Desperate, Sexist Attacks on Susie Lee

Washington, D.C. – Over the weekend, Danny Tarkanian retweeted a desperate, sexist attack on Susie Lee from one of his paid consultants referring to her as a “bored housewife candidate.”

EMILYs List Vice President of Communications Christina Reynolds released the following statement in response:

“Perennial failed candidate Danny Tarkanian is now so desperate to try and save his floundering congressional campaign that he’s falling back on nasty and sexist attacks. Susie Lee has dedicated her career as a nonprofit leader to helping ensure that Nevada's most vulnerable children have the support they need from their schools and communities. We believe Nevada voters will take an accomplished woman over a name-calling sexist every day of the week.”
