EMILYs List Puts Tom Kean “On Notice”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, announced that it was placing Rep. Tom Kean (NJ-07) “On Notice.” Kean joins 22 other extremist anti-choice House Republicans as some of EMILYs List’s top targets to defeat in the 2024 election cycle. EMILYs List President Laphonza Butler released the following statement:

“Rep. Tom Kean has barely been in Congress for a few weeks and has already managed to vote for multiple bills that would restrict abortion access and stigmatize doctors and patients. Kean has voiced support for abortion bans that would harm the most vulnerable and roll back the rights of pregnant people in New Jersey and across America. We can’t trust Kean to protect our reproductive freedom, and that is why he must be replaced.”
