EMILYs List Puts Nick LaLota “On Notice”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, announced that it was placing Rep. Nick LaLota (NY-01) “On Notice.” LaLota joins 22 other extremist anti-choice House Republicans as some of EMILYs List’s top targets to defeat in the 2024 election cycle. EMILYs List President Laphonza Butler released the following statement:

“New Yorkers have long been united in their support of abortion access, but Rep. Nick LaLota is so out-of-touch that he’s voted for multiple anti-abortion measures in Congress, applauded the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade, and supported policies that would harm vulnerable young pregnant people. Politicians who cannot be trusted to defend our rights cannot be allowed to remain in power, and we must vote LaLota out of office in 2024.”
