EMILYs List Endorses State Rep. Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger For Election to the Minnesota State Senate

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed state Rep. Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger for election to the Minnesota state Senate. EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:

As a state Representative, Amanda has fought tirelessly to protect access to health care – including reproductive rights – invest in education, and make child care more affordable. State Rep. Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger is a scientist and public policy expert who has  built a career fighting for working families. She currently represents District 47A in the Minnesota state House where she has made historic progress addressing climate change, investing in education, and championing health care access. Before serving in the state legislature, she led successful grassroots efforts to pass paid parental leave for all state employees and organized community support for the MetroTransit Gold Line. She is running to continue delivering for her constituents in the state Senate.
