EMILYs List Endorses Seven Democratic Pro-Choice Women for Election to the Michigan State Legislature

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed seven Democratic pro-choice women for election to the Michigan state Legislature in 2026. EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:
“EMILYs List is proud to endorse seven battle-tested leaders who are at the center of the fight to secure and build power in the Michigan state Legislature. Each of these women have a proven track record fighting for Michigan families, advocating for affordable health care, and safeguarding reproductive freedoms. We are proud to stand with them to win elections that will protect and expand the Democratic majority in the state Senate and flip the Republican-controlled state House.”
EMILYs List endorses the following candidates for election and reelection:

- Carol Glanville (MI-SD30)
- Mai Xiong (MI-HD13)
- Reggie Miller (MI-HD31)
- Jennifer Conlin (MI-HD48)
- Denise Mentzer (MI-HD61)
- Betsy Coffia (MI-HD103)
In past election cycles, EMILYs List has proudly supported Glanville when she won a seat that had long been a Republican stronghold, Xiong when she made history as the first Hmong American to be elected to the Michigan state Legislature, and Sen. Shink, as well as Reps. Conlin, Coffia, Mentzer, and Miller.
