EMILYs List Endorses Kelly Mazeski for Congress in Illinois’ 6th District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed Kelly Mazeski for Congress in Illinois’ 6th District. Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILYs List, released the following statement:

“For Kelly Mazeski, the fight for better and more affordable health care is personal. Kelly was notified, in the midst of battling breast cancer, that her insurance company wasn't going to cover her and her family the next year and struggled to find insurance for her daughter who had a rare ​medical condition​. When Congressman Peter Roskam voted with Paul Ryan to make Illinois families pay more for less coverage, Kelly knew that enough was enough.
