Raised by a single mom, she worked her way through college and spent nearly 30 years as a career diplomat under five presidents, strengthening America’s security. As ambassador to Ukraine, she led the U.S. Embassy through Russia’s full-scale invasion, standing with Ukraine despite relentless attacks. She ultimately resigned rather than support Trump’s effort to give Russia a free pass. Bridget has always put Michigan and America first and now she’s ready to bring that same courage and integrity to Congress to fight for working families, lower costs, and defend our democratic institutions.
