EMILYs List Endorses Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes for Reelection
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes for reelection. EMILYs List President Jessica Mackler released the following statement:
“Kris Mayes is a fearless fighter and advocate who has fiercely defended Arizonans as Attorney General. She has a proven track record of standing up to greedy corporations to deliver for consumers, and blocking attacks on Arizonans’ fundamental freedoms. We know that Kris has what it takes to continue her work as Arizona’s top law enforcement officer, and EMILYs List is proud to endorse her in this reelection campaign.”
Kris Mayes currently serves as attorney general for Arizona — the second woman and first mom to hold the office. As attorney general, she has prioritized protecting Arizona consumers and combatting elder abuse and fraud. Additionally, she worked on behalf of Arizonans against corporations and monopolies unfairly and illegally raising prices. Mayes fought hard against Trump’s relentless attacks — filing 25 lawsuits against the Trump administration to stop illegal tariffs, protect birthright citizenship, block attacks on fundamental freedoms, and safeguard over $1.5 billion in federal funds for Arizonans. She has been a fighter for groundwater protections and she is committed to securing Arizona’s future.
