EMILY's List Endorses 35 Candidates for Election to the Michigan Legislature

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, endorsed 35 women for election to the Michigan Legislature. EMILYs List President Laphonza Butler released the following statement:

“EMILYs List is thrilled to endorse 35 pro-choice champions in their races to represent their communities in the Michigan Legislature. At a time when the Republicans who control the state legislature are committed to enforcing a 1931 pre-Roe abortion ban, it is imperative that we elect the Democratic pro-choice women who will protect reproductive freedom for all Michiganders. We know that these women will advocate tirelessly to advance justice and equity across the state, and are proud to stand by them in this critical election year.”
