EMILY's List Statement on Jill Schupp Advancing to the General Election in Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, EMILYs List, the nation’s largest resource for women in politics, congratulated Jill Schupp on advancing to the general election in Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District. Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILYs List, released the following statement:

“EMILYs List is thrilled to congratulate Jill Schupp on advancing one step closer to unseating Rep. Ann Wagner in November. Jill is an extraordinary public servant and community organizer leading a grassroots movement to turn Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District blue. In the most recent fiscal quarter, she outraised the Republican incumbent and far outraised the previous cycle’s Democratic candidate in this district, proving voter enthusiasm for her campaign. We are confident that Jill has what it takes to defeat Congresswoman Wagner, and we look forward to helping her flip this seat.”
